Why does Switzerland bow down before Brussels?

ds. I would like to refer to the article “Don’t sacrifice the Swiss state under the rule of law and democracy to the EU integration mania” by Marianne Wüthrich, in the issue from 14 January.
A fraud like that, a fraud against the people’s will and against the foundations of direct democracy, such as the so-called “Priority to Swiss Nationals light” has never existed in Switzerland before. It is a clear constitutional break.
While not only England, but also more and more EU member countries such as Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Hungary and others determine their immigration policy themselves, Switzerland bows down before Brussels.
The question arises: Why this bowing down? Are they simply weak parliamentarians and Federal councillors or are undeclared interests behind this? And if the latter is true, which ones?    •
